I was exploring one of my favorite sites today, classtools.net and I came across this gem. It is called an image hotspot writer. It is really Thinglink light. I call it light because of 2 things. 1. it is easy to use. 2. it does not require a log in.
You might ask what is such a big deal about requiring a log-in? Well I have 2 reasons. 1. Students need to remember enough things no less yet another log in. 2. In NY state, Ed Law 2D is upon us and keeping student information off of the Internet is priority one, or two.
Here is my example I created using it. It allows you to add text about a target you create on an image you load up, and it lets you add a clickable link as well. Brilliant.
