Make Scheduling Quick and Easy with Doodle

I am aware we do not all need to schedule things with colleagues, but when you do it can be a real pain when you cannot figure out a common meeting time for everyone. Doodle allows you to send choices. It is also compatible with outlook and you can even add it onto your outlook school calendar. Here is a quick tutorial to see how it works.

Come learn how you can make scheduling events and meetings quick and easy using the digital tool, Doodle.
Doodle is a digital tool that will allow you to create and send polls when scheduling meetings, a get together, events, etc.. It simplifies the scheduling process by aggregating common dates that users submit through their poll responses. For instance, here are the results from a poll I sent to some friends when trying to schedule a get-together. I love the visual graphic that allows me to quickly see that April 26th works best for everyone. -Julie Smith AKA thetechieteacher

Custom Eye Chart Maker

For a fun way to sent messages to your students and colleagues try http://www.eyechartmaker.com/. It is free and easy, fast and fun. All you do is type in your 28 characters and click the “make the chart” button. Up comes your chart. Just use the clipping tool to save the image while omitting the website information on the bottom or copy and paste the image into a document. The more fun the message, the more in-tune your students will want to be in your room, present and ready to problem solve. Change the message weekly, daily or randomly to add to their excitement.

Breakout EDU

Not only is Breakout EDU a fun way to review with your class, there are so many options of breakouts to choose. You can do the traditional breakout with the boxes and locks. There are Digital Breakout EDU, whicjh is a version with a lot less prep time to set a game up. You can make your own Digital Breakout game using Microsoft FORMS found in the waffle on your email.

Whichever you choose your students will enjoy the game and I would say with confidence you will think it well worth the time put in to make the game. I received this today in my Facebook Breakout group, its a nice resource. Doubly nice if you already used symbaloo.

At RJK, we have 5 kits currently up and functioning, by the fall we should have 8 kits total. This way more than one teacher at a time can use them. We also have the code so that we can use the free and the paid breakouts. See your staff developer to begin.
